Teacher Training Course: CELESTE Project at IFADT-UERJ!

The CELESTE Project invites teachers to participate in a training course at IFADT-UERJ. The initiative combines High-Energy Physics research with outreach and science education in schools, through a network of cosmic-ray detectors that can be operated by students and teachers.

The course will take place on October 26 and 27, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM, and will address the project’s “educational path” with hands-on workshops, an introduction to data analysis and the project’s fundamental concepts, as well as the presentation of the teaching materials developed, connecting particle physics to everyday classroom practice.
